I started to make bonsai self-taught person at 13 years old, stimulated by a present from my parents. After some years I needed to compare my experience and my passion with other people. In 1999 I met Salvatore Liporace and his bonsai school. After an improvement period with Donato Danisi and Patrizia Cappellaro De Martino, in 2000 I started my apprenticeship at Studio Botanico. In this way I have been able to learn and live bonsai day by day, season after season. During three years I had the opportunity to "breathe" bonsai art in a stimulating and international place, where I met many new friends that share my passion. I was in the group of demonstrators in several national and international congress. In 2006 I won the competition for the selection of "New Italian Talent", so I represented Italy to the European congress 2007 in Belgium , where I won the third price. Actually I cooperate with an important bonsai nursery (OltreilVerde in Cernusco sul Naviglio), for maintenance and restyling of bonsai masterpiece. In 2009 I became IBS instructor. Many enthusiasts and collectors entrust their bonsai to me for restyling and preparation for exhibition. Many works of mine are published on various european catalogues. I take care of bonsai lessons in Amici del Verde BonsaiClub. I am going on along this way, with all the people I will meet... Alfredo Salaccione
